Model Trainz: Freemont Mills

Model Trainz: Freemont Mills is inspired from the Jan. 2024 issue of Model Railroader by Steven Otte.

While small, there are plenty of operations that can be performed which can turn into a challenge. This is primarily a switching district with transfer trains entering the area to drop off new inbound cars and taking the ready to be sent with it on the return trip. It’ll then be up to the switching crew to breakdown the train for the destinations and service the industries. After servicing the industries, the crew will make up the outbound train and repeat the same procedure the following day.

Because of how Trainz handles junction approximately, tracks on both ends have been extended by a bit. The real module doesn’t contain such tracks.
